Description
Byakuya Kuchiki: Senbonzakura (A Thousand Cherry Blossoms) [link]
Blade Length: 30 inches
Handle Length: 10 inches
Total Length: 40 inches
I could of made this sword in 4 days as according to my swordmaking guides but i had problems. This sword is handmade with no power tools (except a drill) out of strip pine wood and its full tang. This sword is a common katana very plain the only difference is the guard and colour of the handle wrap. The guard took a long time to sand down about 3 hours. I used a TON of woodfiller on this sword to correct mistakes lol. The hardest problem about this sword was I had no purple tape. So I got white tape and hand painted violet water colours onto it. Some parts of the handle are darker as a problem. Also on a camera the colour showed up as dark blue not purple. The handle is purple XD

Not a fan of Bleach, but I am a fan of swords and making them. I see you run into the same issue I do sometimes. Thinning out the blade almost always will mess up the alignment.. Only way to avoid it is to use a hard word, but using harder woods are not my forte.
