Kaname Tosen: Suzumushi (Pure Insects) [link]
This sword is handmade with no power tools (except a drill) out of strip pine wood and its full tang. This sword is a common katana very plain the only difference is the guard and colour of the handle wrap. Where do is start with this sword I HATED MAKING IT. It was all silver paint except so many parts were unevenly painted. The guard @.@ the outside rim was SO difficult to cut becuase it was balsa wood and stick onto the guard. Cutting those seven damn small holes was a pain also. Attaching the ring proved VERY difficult. Then near the end i found out the guard was THE WRONG WAY ROUND. So i had to chisel away above the guard and put the guard right. So I had to remake the part above the guard from scratch and paint it. Then near the end the tip of the hole holding the ring broke off. The Bleach Sword Collection: The Swordmaking Tutorials: CommentsAh thanks im catching up to you with the number of zanpakuto's you make XD
-- If you have ever made a weapon from an Anime or Video Game come join The Cosplay Armory! [link] "worth all the trouble" it took alot of self restraint to not throw this sword into the woods back to its natural habitat XD
-- If you have ever made a weapon from an Anime or Video Game come join The Cosplay Armory! [link] If i would make it again (like hell on earth) i would make the guard out of a stronger wood ^^
-- If you have ever made a weapon from an Anime or Video Game come join The Cosplay Armory! [link] this was made of the same pine that makes up the rest of the sword. The reason i didnt choose MDF was becuase since its strong its VERY hard to make the 7 small holes in the wood becuase i would be using a file for a VERY long time XD
