In the worst snow storm of the century, a lone person is seen silently marching through the thick snow. This person is none other then the Winter Swordsman. However a mysterious man approaches him from behind and while unsheathing his sword he calls out:

At last! I have finnally tracked you down, the so called "Winter Swordsman", your a difficult man to find you know? Ah yes, the fabled swordsman who always comes to the rescue of people stuck in blizzards! do you know who I am?

you? you are but a mere mortal

tch! I am the Gentleman Swordsman! the renowned Master Swordsman and genius of the blade. I have slain many of the worlds greatest swordsmans searching for the ultimate foe to match my skill. However I never did find that one foe, until today. I heard tales of a man who only appeared when it snowed and killed demons terrorising villagers. Demons? like such things exist! but what intrested me was the mysterious man who wielded a sword so gracefully, he could cut the very snow flakes apart.

I merely help people in need when none others can

No, I know you are not a normal man I can tell it by the look in your eyes. Tell me Mr Winter Swordsman who are you exactly? what is your purpose? I wish to know about the man I am about to cut down...

If you are so eager to know then fine. Firstly you are right I am not a human, I am a spirit of winter. More precisely I come from the spiritual plane. I am apart of a group with other spirits, together we are the "Swordsmans of Seasons". When demons venture to close to human settlements, one of us is dispatched to exterminate them.

Heh! a winter spirit? what nonsense! do you expect me to believe that? let me guess, if your the"Winter Swordsman" then you exterminate demons only when the season is in winter?

That is correct, I can only appear on earth in the winter season and when it is snowing. The same applys to the other members of my group, the Spring, Summer and Autumn Swordsmans as well. We cannot stay too long in the human world because there will be consequences...

Lucky me then! I have caught you at the right time, it is in the dead of winter and this blizzard has no sign of ending soon. If you are truly what you say you are, then you are a swordsman who transcends human skill! Draw your sword, my journey has finnally reached its climax...

You mortal fool, as flowers wither and die in the winter, they are reborn in spring. I am a spirit and if you strike me down I shall only be reborn again the next time it snows in winter. Who are you to intervene in the flow of the world?

Words are meaningless to try and waver a man from his dream! he heh he... immortal you say? well if you are reborn every winter then, that means I can fight you to the death everytime! argh! I cannot hold myself anymore, prepare yourself swordsman!

Thus the swords were drawn and this moment in time would be recored in history as "The Storm of Snow and Steel"
