Nijigasumi: You remember that Bleach Bounto arc? gosh that was sgod awful trying to watch. Well anyway this tsuba belongs to the 11th division shinigimi drop out Maki Ichinose. Becuase kenpachi came in and pwned his captain, Maki Ichinose has always had a slight frown towards Kenpachi. Well anyway his zanpakuto is wierd, I mean it is like a light zanpakuto that makes you semi invisible with rainbows and stuff. When a zanpakuto makes a rainbow you know the wielder has problems. Then he tried to trap kenpachi, so kenpachi takes off his eye patch to scratch his eye a bit and unknowlingly his reitsu crushes Maki Ichinose. Ashido Kano's: Ah yes the forest of menos filler in Bleach. That was almost bearable, I mean we were introduced with yet enother shinigimi who has forever been told that he was just going out to own some hollows for about 30 minutes, its been well over 30 years mate. Now he hasnt actually given us a name for his zanpakuto, and its difficult to find out what it actually does. It seems to reflects oppenents attacks back towards the oppenent like cero. Okey that sounds practical to an extent. Its just seems that he somehow uses that skull as a shield alot more often than his zanpakuto. And so these are the filler characters. Wanna know why the Menos Forest didn't suck as much as the Bount and latest filler arc? Because it wasn't filler. Kubo was originally gunna put it in the manga, but had a problem with page limits so left it out apparently.
next time I'll try a sword myself XD
Kubo actually designed Ashido himself; he was supposed to be in the manga, with the same storyline, at the same time as he was in the anime. Kubo just didn't have the time to fit him in and had to drop it. The anime, however, kept him in.
So I guess he is technically filler, but at the same time not.
