The Zanpakuto Tsuba Index

The purpose of these drawings is to help swordmakers and propmakers. When it comes to making katana's or zanpakuto's most of the time the tsuba is the most unique part of the sword. It is the part of the katana which has most of design. So I drew up these closely detailed and accurate measurements of these tsuba's. With these tsuba's they act as a reference when your going to attempt to make the sword. If you use a scene from a anime or manga to make use reference for your tsuba, it might be flawed. So I have saved you the trouble and drawn them all out clearly, with measurements so you can print and cut them out.

Raika: Oh yeah we finnaly arrive to captain amagai's tsuba and what a failure the filler has expected to been. Captain Amagai is the new captain of the third division and man does he do a terrible job, must be because of his evil intentions. Did I spoiler? meh the filler anime for bleach is bad anyway. You even get to see his bankai, well whats most of it anyway nothing special. However his redeeming factor is that he has a cool looking tsuba for his zanpakuto. He actually also uses a second zanpakuto like a tuning fork. I forgot to mention that Raika is actually a elemental zanpakuto of the attribute fire, yammato watch out.

Reppu: Now this is kifune's zanpakuto. Firstly he sure does resemble a number 8th seat espada, the anime studio must be reusing character designs, he is basically sazayel but with different shaped glasses. Now onto his zanpakuto, it is a beyblade. Yep his zanpakuto releases into a giant toy beyblade that can fly in the air. Kifune's release command should be"LET IT RIP!!! REPPU!!" the only special ability of his beyblade zanpakuto is that it spins faster and moves faster, that is about it. The fight with him against kira was painfull to watch. All the battle was is kira gradually making kifune's beyblade heavier until it stopped spinning. Oh yeah beyblade is awesome reppu is not.

Important Notes:

. ALL these guards slide into swords with a thicnkess of 5 mm and 30 mm long, there are some exceptions.
.The parrallel lines are the rims of the guards that you cut out of balsa wood and glue onto the main guard.
.Download the full version, then copy and paste it, print it off then cut it out with scissors.
.Once it the paper tsuba is cut out, then draw around it with a pencil on the wood, then cut it out to finish.
